Mojang Announces The End Of Its Card Battle Game And Offers One Year More Of Playtime


Mojang means Minecraft. However, that's not the only thing the Microsoft-owned company is tinkering away at. Scrolls was a second project: an online card battle game that's available across PC, Mac and tablets.  mc list  has come to the end of its run, with the developer announcing that it will discontinue development of the game. The announcement doesn't provide an explanation for the abrupt end however we've reached out to find out if there was any particular reason Mojang claimed a legal victory against Bethesda in being able to name the game "Scrolls" in the first place, but was bound to name any sequels in the same manner. Mojang promises that it'll keep the servers running for another year, so there's a total of twelve months to finish the latest update and levels that were released this month.



Update The following update: A Mojang spokesperson confirmed that the launch of the "Scrolls" beta was a huge success. Tens of thousands of players fought daily and many of them are still playing today. The game has ceased to continue to grow in a continuous manner.
